If you would like a locally bred turkey for Thanksgiving, you can email my CSA farm, Avalon Acres, at farmer@avalon-acres.com. Cost is 12lb for $42, 14lb for $49, 16lb for $56 plus $25 deposit.They are also now taking orders for Winter Share, which will consist of meats, eggs, baked goods, and canned goods. They will also take small selective orders over the winter, if you want to pick & choose. We've ordered free range chicken breasts from them, and they were great. The Amish breads & cinnamon rolls are also good. Call or email them with questions.
