Eric Volz Reception

We recently went to a reception for Eric Volz, who was falsely convicted of murder in Nicaragua last year. He spent nearly a year in Nicaraguan prison, but was acquitted and released in December '07. I can't imagine how freedom would feel after an experience like that. I know many of you sent letters & prayers his way, and I know he truly appreciated all of them!

I kept up with his story...amazing. I am SO glad he was released. I can't even begin to imagine what he (and his family) went through! Great pic of you all too!

I have wondered what happened to him since he got home. Paul and I were guessing if he's still scared for his life or if he finally feels safe. Thanks for the update on him!

Wow! After closely following his unbelievable story via the news and several "Dateline" type shows, it is a bit surreal to see him pictured with two people I know!

What a blessing that Eric is home. I can not even imagine what he and his loved ones have been through. And call me crazy, but I have always thought he and Lance favored each other!

It was great to talk to you yesterday, if only for a few minutes...you are looking fantastic!
