The Antique Tureen

Before I buy anything, I try to ask myself “Do I really NEED this?” When I saw an antique soup tureen that was an identical match to one I already owned, I told myself “No. No one in the world needs 2 soup tureens.” But hours later, I regretted that decision. What are the chances that I would run across an identical matching soup tureen? So I went back at the end of the day & bought it at the garage sale down the street! I must say that I’m glad I did. So guess what you’ll be having next time you come over? ..SOUP!

I'll take some soup! Good find Carrie! Oh, I wanted to ask you if you ever got the group picture of our highschool reunion. I never saw it.

Yummy! I love that black bean soup that you make. I need to try that one myself soon, if it's ever not 100 degrees.

might you have any cold soup recipes handy?

What a nice thing to say, Caroline! I didn't even know you were reading it. Now YOU'LL have to start a blog so I can keep up with you!

Amanda V. - So glad your pumpkin soup turned out well! I don't have any cold soup recipes that I've tried, but I bet the Tomato Soup I've posted would turn out delicious right now since all the ingredients are fresh in season!
