Here is Ethan's room just after we started the renovation. We knocked out this door to attic space, and added it to E's room.
There is more to the room not visible here, but this is how we reframed the walls.
And after! I have a few more projects I'd like to do (repaint the chair, possibly paint the lamp, etc) but I'm going to sit tight for at least another month. :)

got the 3 small car postcards from etsy for a total of $4 (turn of the centuries). the car painting with 3 cars is from dolman geiman on etsy. the orange and red car painting was for sale in the factory in franklin.
