Tonight my Grandfather went to be with his Father in Heaven. I'm so glad that the kids got to meet him, just last month. He was a wonderful man who loved Jesus, his wife & kids, traveling, stationary bikes, photography, gardening, and Larry King. He called Jeanie, my sister-in-law, "Tina" for the last 13 years. He married Lance & I, calling us "Larry." I loved this man. But I'm so excited for him to be free of his his human shell & now living in his final resting place. I love you Granddad.

What a handsome man! You actually look a lot like him (in a good way)
So sorry to hear, Carrie. We will keep your family in our prayers. Will you be going to Texas?
I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your Grandfather, but what a wonderful tribute you wrote for him. I remember the "Larry" comment so well, as Josh has continued to address Lance as "Larry" since then! If you will be traveling, I hope you have a safe trip.
thanks Carrie, for those beautiful thoughts about Grandad. I am so grateful for your gifts on the computer and in writing your blog. It is very meaniful to our family.
I'm so sorry to hear about your grandfather passing, but I know you have some wonderful stories about him to pass along to Ethan and Katie Belle. They will know their great grandfather through your love for him.
We should all be so blessed.
So sorry to here of your grandfathers passing. What an amazing life! He was a handsome man.
I am so sorry for your loss. I loved your post about him. He sounds like a wonderful man!
great post- I had a Gma (Mimi) who I loved beyond words, and often wish to write down memories and lessons learned from her life. Maybe i'll actually do it, now that youve inspired me!
