Another fun week of the CSA Yumminess. Tonight I'm trying Corned Beef & Cabbage. This week we got green beans, cabbage, blackberries, carrots, onion, cucumbers, zucchini, beets, greens, broccoli, green onions, some herbs, radishes & onion. (Anyone know if the greens are a lettuce, or mustard greens again? And is the yellow veggie a Yellow Straightneck Squash? Or something else?) It looks like golden zucchini. :)
I thought it looks like a zucchini as well but have not researched it. We got one in our box this week.
I have both straight-necked squash and crook-necked squash. The have the same paler yellow color and texture. What you have definitely looks like more of the zucchini texture.
