you are hilarious! even when i had lilly in a pink dress with a hairbow, people would STILL call her a boy. morons. i had someone ask me at wal-mart today if lilly (3 1/2) and mamie (18 months) were TWINS. seriously?
I find that if Savannah isn't wearing a bow in her hair--people just assume that she's a boy. Even if I'm pushing her around in her pink stroller, she still get's the "he's" comments. Sometimes people just don't think.
Abbey used to get the "He" comments even if I had her in pink because the carrier was green. It is better now that bows will stay in her hair. Clark thinks it cruel to make her wear bows, but I want people to know she is a girl.
Funny. Once when my first daughter was a baby, she was in blue, but she even had a blue bow in her hair and her outfit was blue flowers and people would still say that.
I bought Em a pink onsie that said, "I'M A GIRL!" across the front. Really couldn't blame people, though -- when she didn't have a bow in her hair, even we called her 'Gary'!

How funny! Someone once called Avery a little girl, and he was wearing a blue outfit that said something like thank goodness for little boys!
